  2. MS-DOS Prompt Shell Extension by Derek Smith

  5. The MS-DOS Prompt Shell Extension adds an "MS-DOS Prompt" menu item to the
  6. context (right-click) menu of all drives and folders (including the start
  7. button).  To register the shell extension, simply run "MS-DOS Prompt Shell
  8. Extension.exe" (FYI, you'll need to extract the ZIP archive using WinZip95
  9. in order to keep the long filename).

  11. Here's a neat trick:  if you're on a network, open a network folder without
  12. mapping a drive (i.e. start->run \\foo\bar\blah).  Right-click on the icon
  13. in the title-bar of the window that opens and click "MS-DOS Prompt."  The
  14. MS-DOS Prompt Shell Extension will map a drive and change directories for
  15. you.

  20. The MS-DOS Prompt Shell Extension is being released as freeware to the 
  21. general public.  The program may be freely distributed, so long as none of 
  22. it's contents are modified in any way.  Corporate use is hereby forbidden 
  23. without written consent from the author.
